The MSc Computer Science program is a research-based master’s program that is designed
for Bachelor’s degree graduates in computer science, information technology (IT) and related
areas. It aims to prepare students to deepen their knowledge of computer science and to
introduce them to conducting independent, original research in the field under the guidance of
a faculty member, based on current needs and requirements of IT areas, computer science,
and institutions and organizations who require the expertise of highly qualified computer
scientists. Students will conduct a thesis project with research and development in a particular
topic relevant to computer science. The program will cover areas that require highly skilled
graduates (e.g., artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, and data science)
and individuals with skills in those areas are currently in demand, in addition, some of those
areas are critical for our diversified economy and critically support organizations and
companies that constantly require higher-level software development (e.g., software
development project management) and data analytics.
